A prime mover is a specially-designed and built heavy-duty truck. A prime mover is mainly used to push or pull conventional trailer transports. Low gearing; high torque; and planetary drive axles are combined for complicated applications. Multiple prime movers can be used during one transport to pull a heavy load on public roads.
